Listen up ladies,

The hardest thing that women can ever go through (besides childbirth) is heartbreak. Unfortunately, I am experiencing it this very moment. It’s been about a month and it is a rollercoaster ride. Not a fun one. The ones that have a very steep incline and then drop straight down at a 90 degree angle.

I have had my moments where I feel joy and peace and then there are nights like tonight, where I felt so enraged. If I try to understand the situation or fixate on it, it only goes downhill from there.

So ladies, if you’re experiencing a breakup where you feel like the man did nothing but stomp on your heart, just know that this pain doesn’t last forever. And that he’s also an idiot. There are so many other people in this world that God wants you to meet. That man doesn’t deserve one single thought from you.

However, if you really feel like the Hulk and have a hard time restraining yourself from contacting him to tell him how much of an idiot he is, write a letter. That’s exactly what I did tonight (thanks to my step-mom’s advice).

Now, don’t have any intentions on actually giving him the letter. This letter is just for you to get everything off your chest that you have been wanting to but haven’t been able to. Trust me, you’ll feel so much better afterwards.

Just remember that even though it feels like the world is crumbling around you, that God is holding your hand and leading you to something greater. You got this.
