Do. Not. Get. Lazy.
No matter how nice it seems to nap and put off that studying you have to do, who is really losing? You.
I am the queen of naps and I need at least 8 hours of sleep every night. I know what it’s like to want to just lay your head on a pillow and sleep your stress away.
BUT…. if you just knock it out you can sleep all you want. You can watch all the movies you want. You can even go paint your nails and get in a bubble bath. Rewarding yourself after accomplishing a load of work always gets me motivated to keep going.
Also, you’ll just feel so much better about yourself when you cross things off your to-do list. I feel my best when I’m giving my best.
So, next time you are really struggling to stay focused and get motivated, youtube some study music, write on a sticky note what you’re going to reward yourself with, stick it to your desk or computer, and get started.
