College Life Lessons: tip #2
“Time flies by and before you know it you’ll be an adult in the real world.”
That was always my reaction.
I never truly believed that time went by fast. I always thought that it went by too slow. I was so eager to be done with high school. However, on graduation day it did not feel like I spent four years of my life in high school.
Currently, this is my senior year in college and I really am questioning where the time went.
There are plenty of things that I wish I could go back and do differently. Especially, spending more time getting to know people and having new experiences.
It is so easy to get caught up in checking things off of your to-do list (and it’s extremely satisfying). However, I encourage you to just go out and enjoy life before it’s too late. How many times have you heard that line before? This is usually where another eye roll comes into play.
When you look back on your college life, you don’t want to just remember all the school work you’ve accomplished. Experiences will last a lifetime, not grades.
P.S. THIS DOES NOT MEAN GO OUT AND BE AN IDIOT. Go out, have fun, be responsible, and get your school work done. (Didn’t mean for that to rhyme but I’m fine with it).
Authentically Yours,
