The Future

During this very weird season of my life, once a valley, I feel as if I have so much more light in my life.

This is because I have drawn near to the Lord in my time of need. He is the only person that can give me everything I need. I have realized this the hard way. He needs to be my sole focus.

Because of such unexpected change of events that have happened recently in my life, I have realized how much more opportunity I have ahead of me. I have so many new doors opening up for me because of one that got shut.

Here are just a few things that I am planning to do in the very near future: create a daily devotional for 365 days on different topics (mostly geared towards teenagers and women in their twenties), going to the smokey mountains in April, going to Europe in June after graduation, going to my first music festival in June (Bonnaroo), and then going to my first mission trip to Guatemala in July.

It’s amazing how many doors God can open for you when he shuts one.
