Letting Go and Letting God

During this whole endurance through life, it’s a constant whirlwind.

Waking up early, making breakfast, heading to work or school, coming home and eating a snack, doing homework, studying, make dinner, study some more, shower, and then finally pass out in bed.

Sometimes it is EXTREMELY hard to be still.

When I say be still, I mean to take time and to just stop and breathe. I like to remind myself in this fast paced world that it is hard to let go of trying to control what happens in my life, to let go of my worries and anxiety.

And if you really are still and try to connect with the Lord, he will speak to you and guide you.

I like to take time before I go to bed to read God’s word and/or pray and really speak to him like he’s my best friend. This really helps to soothe my mind before I fall asleep. And ever since I have been growing more and more with my relationship in the Lord, I have heard him speak more loudly and clearly to me.

Also, just like everyone else in this world, it is easy to forget to do these things in this fast paced world. Just remind yourself that it’s okay and to just keep trying. He will leave the ninety-nine for YOU.
